Day 1 has finally arrived.This trip was first mooted 5 years ago, so today has been eagerly awaited. I left Sydney at 9am, but not without a last minute hitch. The mods I made to the bike, to carry the extra load forced the chain guard onto the tyre. A few quick adjustments & I was away.Took the Sydney Harbour Bridge option on a great Sydney day. 450 kms today, with a great ride on Bucketts Way & Thunderbolts Way. Camped at Walcha tonight.
